About
MOMS by Macalino Salkini is a London-based brand built from care, memory, and quiet defiance. Founded by Omar Macalino Salkini, the label reflects his Syrian and Filipino heritage and the everyday rhythm of British life. The work is shaped by how people move, adapt, and find strength in what is familiar.
Before founding MOMS, Omar worked with designers including Nicholas Daley, Phoebe Philo, and Paria Farzaneh, experiences that shaped his approach to process, material, and community. Through these studios, he learned to value craft as a language of care and a means of storytelling, lessons that continue to define the brand’s identity today.
Craft & Philosophy
Each collection is a study of resilience. Garments carry traces of the hand that made them, shaped by process rather than perfection. The pieces blend craft and function, merging Eastern forms with Western structure, finding beauty in what feels raw and lived in.
MOMS stands as a form of silent rebellion. It resists disposability and noise, choosing honesty and endurance instead. Every piece is made in small runs between London and select workshops, built to age with the wearer and to hold meaning over time.
Identity & Expression
At its core, MOMS is about care for craftsmanship, for community, and for the stories that tie us together. The label exists between worlds, shaped by heritage, migration, and lived experience. Each collection becomes a study of identity, finding beauty in duality and meaning in contradiction.
